Here are a couple of photos from what I think has been our hardest climb we ever did together.

When I was having some health issues that culminated in my right kidney removed, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to have my pal Brodie rehomed.

I am so glad I recorded most of our hill climbing adventures, and have them to look back on.

I’m 76 now but I have not given up on the idea of climbing Bennachie one more time. I am almost back to the fitness level I was at when we did the Clachnaben climb in August of 2023.

We were accompanied on that climb by my best friends daughter and it was only by sheer determination and encouraging each other to keep going that we made it all the way to the top.
